Finland's oldest and the second oldest rock festival in the whole of Europe, Ruisrock, will celebrate its 40th anniversary on the following weekend.
Over the weekend, the five festival stages will be filled with approximately 60 acts and nearly half of them are from abroad.
The foreign headliners include Ozzy Ozbourne, Billy Talent, Slash, Belle & Sebastian, Midlake, Regina Spektor and The Sounds and The Ark. The domestic headliners include Don Huonot, Jenni Vartiainen, Amorphis, Michael Monroe, PMMP, Stamina, Jätkäjätkät and Disco Ensemble.
To celebrate the anniversary, the line-up has been completed with some good ol' artists and pioneers. In addition to Ozzy Osbourne, foreign Canned Heat, The Specials, The Sonics and domestic Vesa-Matti Loiri and Popeda will perform at the festival.
In addition to live music, the festival-goers will be provided with versatile restaurant services designed by Finland's most recognized chef Hans Välimäki. Various activities from bungee jump to sumo can also be found at the festival site.
